A native of New York, Erin has been dancing since the age of five. From 2000-2003 she trained at the Alvin Ailey School’s year round program on Fellowship under the directorship of Elena Commendador and Tracy Inman, and performed works by Earl Mosely, Troy Powell, Nancy Torano, Fred Benjamin, and Robert Garland, among others. Some of the additional programs she attended were with Parsons Dance, Aspen Ballet, the Kirov Academy, Ballet Met, Joffrey, and NYSSSA. In 2007 Erin graduated Cum Laude from the Conservatory of Dance at Purchase with a BFA in ballet and modern performance. While there, she had the opportunity to perform works by Bill T. Jones, Bettijane Sills, Megan Williams, and David Parsons. Erin currently resides in San Francisco where she has worked with RAWdance, Copious Dance Theater, Mary Carbonara Dances, and the Adhesive Physical Theater.
